I’m fortunate to have a job located in the Presidio, but when I’m working, I rarely take advantage of this incredible area. Working during the COVID 19 pandemic, I was determined to get outside and enjoy the fresh marine air and stunning scenery. I collected trash on Crissy Field Beach a couple times a week over the course of several months. Sand Sifter: Golden Gate Bridge is made from the trash I gathered within sight of the world famous Golden Gate Bridge and the popular tourist destinations Fort Point and Alcatraz

I encourage the viewer to consider the lifespan of plastics and the true cost of single-use plastics.
